Downtown Dartmouth: Birding the Sawmill River from Lake Banook to Dartmouth Cove - Sat., 27 Jan, 2018

This beginners’ bird walk will meet at Birch Cove parking lot at Lake Banook. Starting at Bird Cove Park, we’ll follow the buried Sawmill River to the TransCanada trail where we’ll look for seabirds along Dartmouth Cove. It’ll be a fun, urban birding adventure with a chance to learn about Dartmouth’s historic Sawmill River and efforts to restore it.

Dress warmly and bring binoculars if you have them (a few spare pairs will be available to borrow).

The walk will be canceled if raining or snowing. No storm date for this trip. For more info, please contact Sue Abbott (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
